Who is Fabio?
My name is Fabio and I was born in 1993, in the countryside of São Paulo (Brazil). Art and creativity have always been within me, but for most of my life I pursued this passion as a hobby.
Passionate about art, I even tried to find my place in other areas, working at some advertising and web design agencies, and even starting a college degree in Games, but which was focused on programming. However, none of these areas made me feel complete; I always had the feeling that something was missing.
In 2020, I discovered some incredible artists who were creating fakemons and digifakes, which inspired me to get my ideas out of my head and finally create them visually, and that’s how meFAStoon was born.
With a lot of persistence, less than a year after starting the project and after bringing many fakemons and digifakes to life, I was already selling my first commission to followers, who, like me, believed in my art and in the ability to create a personalized mon universe with no limits to the imagination.
Today, there are more than 150 fakemons created and spread all over the world.
Why do I create characters/monsters?
Like most children born in the 90s, the Monster Creation universe has always been very present in my life and soon became an inspiration for a child like me, who loved drawing and admired the creations of other artists on the television screen.
In a digital universe so full of opportunities and possibilities, having the chance to bring together drawing lovers and inspire them to create their own character is something I consider a privilege, as it has been so dreamed of and desired throughout my life as an artist.
My main purpose as an artist is to be able to share my love for art and create, together with my followers, a richer and broader Mon universe, allowing us to dream together of new and improbable characters.
